Charger operation summary

Battery charger

A battery charger is an electric device with the following features:
It takes the power from the AC line
It supplies DC voltage and power through the positive and negative terminals
The charging current is regulated according to the charging mode and never exceeding the setup limit
When the battery is charged the charger goes to a floating voltage level in order not to damage the battery,

Charger indicating leds

This model of charger has three indicating leds on the front.
The charger ok led goes green when the charger is powered through the AC line
The second led, battery ok, goes green when a battery is connected to the`DC output and the voltage is around nominal
The third led, battery charging, is flashing green when the battery is charging and goes steady green when the charge is complete and the charger mode is floating.

Tester

An electric tester is a measuring device with the following features:
It can measure voltage, current, resistance, diodes, frequency and others
DC and AC selection is available
There are different connectors for the testing cables to avoid accidents when voltage and current are mixed up
